This is a 1979 Thornton Utz (American artist) signed plate entitled "sand in her shoe." This plate is not only signed by the artist, but has a special engraving of plate numer - 50078, firing date - 3-17-80, and firing master "R.T." It is a very special plate. While you sometimes see these - you don't see these engravings. This has significant value and is very collectible. It is entitled "Sand in her shoe."
