5-6 foot tall and almost as wide perennial. Full sun, part shade, dies down to the ground each winter but comes back strong the following spring. Blooms in late summer. Great for seasonal hedge and as a background plant. USDA zones 3-9.

To plant direct sow seeds where you want them to grow just barely covering them with soil in early spring. Normal rain and sun will do the rest. Just be patient. The first year it will be small but by the second you won't believe how big it gets and the flowers are huge!
