The listing, **Moringa--MIRACLE TREE** has ended.

This amazingly versatile tree can be grown year round in tropical climates and grown as an annual in temperate zones. As far as an edible, beneficial plant...this is hard to beat. The flowers, leaves and seeds are all incredibly nutritious. Also used in healing and can be made into a cooking oil. Leaves can be eaten raw or cooked. The young pods can be cooked and eaten with a taste similar to asparagus. Also can be made into a health drink and is useful to purify water in poorer regions of the world. These can grow 20-30 feet on one year. Winner will get 5 seeds. I never use poison on any of my plants. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding!

Are these hard to grow by seed? And do you know if it would be possible to grow as a house plant? During the winter and move out in the spring and summer?

I grew mine from seed. I planted it last October and it is now taller than I am. I suggest you google a pic of a full grown one. They are BIG! You can probably start it as a house plant...but they grow so fast..it won't be long before you will have to put it outside....hope that helps...Anne..

I started mine this year after sign of frost was gone. I poked the seed in miracle grow mix and they are now 2 ft tall. Also very green and healthy. Their very easy to grow. Poke the seed in as triangle down just under dirt and water but not drench. I watered twice a week and left in a sunny spot. Before long it was a sprout usually within a month to 2. Good luck. Just a helpful hint there. God bless
