The porcelain is flawless- no cracks or chips
The 3 hinges are free and works, the lid sits flush when closed
The heavily decorated box itself has weight to it, so I believe it is brass, not copper
The box itself is supported by 3 decorated feet
The inside is still in excellent condition with vibrant colors of gold and gold felt
The self-winding music box is in excellent condition and chimes beautifully
The layered patina (black) is natural on the overall surface with verdigris (green patina) on the edge of the lid, surrounding the porcelain heart
The measurements are 2 ¼ “ H x 3 ½ “ L - The Diameter is also 3 ½ “
