Up for auction is a Rare 1987 Roger Clemens 7-11 Slurpee Coin. This coin was released nearly three decades ago by 7-11 as a promotion where if you purchased a Slurpee, you received a random coin at the bottom of your Slurpee cup. The image on the front of this coin shifts between a portrait of Clemens and one of him in action when you move it. This item is rather remarkable for a few reasons. First, it is in the same near mint condition as when it was uncovered back in 1987 because it was placed in a protective case right after. The other reason that this is so special is because it is one of the earliest collectibles ever produced of one of the greatest pitchers of all time, as his career record was only 69 total games pitched at the time for the Boston Red Sox.
