This auction is for a never used, Linksys Wireless-G 2.4 GHz, 54Mbps Broadband Router. This is a Cisco Systems device, with 4-port switch...model WRT54G. I did throw the box away but never ended up not using it and doing a package cable deal instead. This is an excellent broadband router!...happy bidding and enjoy:))

Questions & Comments

My home is a 2 story and my router with my cable company Verizon is upstairs in my office and there are times connection downstairs or in the back yard fade will this help with that if I connect this downstairs somewhere? Do I have to let Verizon now about this box for any reason?

It will definitely help but as for Verizon, I have no idea but if it was me, I would take it in to them and talk to a tech.

You do not need to let a company know you bought anther router. AT my church what I did was since there was only one Ethernet plug, I used another wireless router and used one of the slots in the back and being the wireless router had more power and longer range, I can go from basement to 3rd story balcony and be able to stay connected to the internet. A trailer is perfect because you have 4 ports to connect devices and you will gt coverage throughout the whole house...you just need to find a service and make sure it is compatible...they will help you through it all:)
