Can anyone tell me why when i bid on something even though its higher then the highest bid showing on the screen it tells me youve been outbid how?then the bid automatically keeps going up is it because somebody has a max bid thats higher and it automatically keeps going up? So confused

Yes what she SD. Lol ok say it says the bid is at 100 and I am winning but u want to be the high bidder. So u type in 200 and it says u have been outbid that means that I SD I would pay at least 200 so then u press in 300 and it says u r the high bidder but it Shows that the bid is now 250 that means the highest I would go was 250 so then that means u will have the high bid until someone else out bids u at 301 . so the best way to tell u is figure what is the most u pay say the most u want to pay is 500 go ahead and type 500 in then say if its just at 200 u will win until or else someone will bid more than 500 . it won't tell u what someone's high bid u got to outbid them to see what it is. Does that help or make since?

You just have to keep bidding until it says you are the highest. It wont tell you what the highest bid is until you pass it. I hope this helps

Because it doesn't automatically jump to someone's highest bid... it auto bids in increments, as to not waste a ton of credits.

For example if I am the only bidder and I bid 4,000, it doesn't jump right to 4,000... it starts in smaller increments and goes up. So if you only bid 200 credits, then it would jump to a bid higher than yours like maybe 201, but I would still be a higher bidder than you, because my maximum bid is still 4,000. Until someone bids 4,001 or higher, I will still always be the higher bidder. Hope that helps a little.

It works just like eBay, you have to put in your maximum bid, and then it will autobid for you.
