Brand New in Manufacturer's Packaging

The name "Jolly Roger" is thought to have come from joli rouge (pretty red), a wry French description of the bloody banner flown by early privateers.

This design was used by several pirates, including Captains Edward England, and John Taylor.
Also used by Jean Lafitte (1776-1823?) who was the last of the great French pirates of the Gulf of Mexico from Barataria Island, LA. to Galveston, TX

What's with the automatic out bidding?

I see you’re new to Listia. The answer is simple, it’s just like bidding on eBay. Sometimes bidders will put in a higher bid. The system will only take the minimum bid they need to take the top bidder spot. It leaves the balance of their credits in a reserve, if someone out bids them, the system will raise their bid automatically using their reserve credits until their credits are gone. Then they have to bid again, or whoever bids against them wins. Other things here are GIN, Get it now, (like eBay’s buy it now) F&W Fan & Watching, NWT New with tags, etc. Dave
