The listing, 8 SILVER MERCURY DIMES in PLASTIC CASES has ended.

This auction is for 8 different WINGED LIBERTY HEAD or MERCURY DIMES. All encased in square plastic cases. Most of them do need to be removed and washed with warm soapy water to attempt to remove whatever is on them, for the dates are hard to read on some. I have decided to leave them alone and leave it up to the winner to do so if they wish.

The dates are different on all 8 dimes and they are:
1935-D
1936
1936-D
1937-D
1941
1941-D
1943-D
1945-S

I have gotten my Mercury Dime collection down to needing only a few for completion, and I am going to be putting up many of the extra's here on Listia. All of these are in quite good shape, but you will need to use the pictures above to consider their grade for yourself. The pictures above are of the coins that the winner will receive, and are the best that I could do with the camera that I have. I will say though, that all but 1 show complete sticks and diagonal bands on the reverse, with the other showing wear into the sticks with the diagonal bands barely showing. All have been replaced with TPGS graded coins.
I really should have posted all of these seperately, for each one would carry its own auction easily, but the FREE SHIPPING that I always use just does not make it worthwhile. So some lucky Listian will be able to clean up here on just 1 auction. This will only be a 3 day auction and all of those that are going to be asking about a GIN, be aware that the answer is going to be a NO unless you want to make an offer beginning at 88888 before someone makes a bid to stop it.
