My wife like to wear size 2x cause its loose as she says would this be too loose? She could wear a xl and it fit but doesnt always I get so confused on womens sizing lol just though she'd like this!

It all depends on how "loose" she likes the fit. Also every brand size runs differently. You could always relist if she doesn't like it :)
