If auction will have at least of 100 watchers (!!) I will send registered item with shipment number!!! So - if you want registered insurance - you need to share this auction to all your friends!!! I will make it premium so that will cost me 2100 points - that means a lot of watchers!
I will send this item normal delivery in maximum 7 days after you win and give me listia verified address - if you don't want to wait please do not bid.

From what I gather, this is basically a prototype pane of stamps that were used by James A. Helzer, president of Unicover Corporation as a sample to try & persuade top postal officials to produce an official series of Birds & Flowers of the 50 states (from artist Arthur Singer's original paintings) stamps. They wanted to show that his original 12" x 14" paintings could successfully be reproduced & printed on a smaller scale (postage stamp size) and still maintain it's beauty & quality.

I did a quick search on the internet & this is what I came up with. Don't quote me on it though.

These are not postage stamps. They will have no value in a stamp collection.
They are pretty and probably produced by the artist as a promo for his art.
Educationally wonderful though!!!

Are these "seals" of postage stamps, there is no US postage rate on them, nor are they in a Scott catalogue?

I think they are not postage stamps... no value on them, on each stamp is a number from 1 to 50 and also on each stamp is name of a state from US. so is a beautiful piece , though!
