Some info on Opal:
Stone of INSPIRATION

Opal is a stone of inspiration which enhances imagination and creativity. It can bring inspiration to projects and to life and Spirit. Its own spirit is at times like that of a child spontaneously playing, dashing color where ever it pleases. Carrying this imaginative spontaneity into the realm of you life can bring strong creativity.

Opal has a larger proportion of water in it than most stones and is considered a water stone. This can help ease the effort of handling change in life. Like water rolls over and past rocks and roots in its way, the energy of opal can help continue on your path regardless of obstacles. During times of transformation, this is an invaluable energy to work with and hold close to your heart.
Emotionally, opal brings its water energy to enhance self-esteem and sense of self-worth. It can help bring these to the surface of your life in spite of anything else going on under the surface. This aligned with the inspiring love energies can help you release damaging inhibitions and access your true spiritual nature. Opal is also used to bring happy dreams and avoid nightmares. It is a soothing stone which can calm over wrought emotions and bring a deep sense of hope and inner peace.

I apologize for taking so long to reply to your question. I can say that my answer is the same per Listia rules. Once a bid has been placed nothing about an auction can be changed and I take it a step further. Other than grammar errors once an auction has been listed I don't change things simply because that way my bidders who are always bidding and hoping and sometimes saving know for sure that it won't be "short sheeted" out from under them while they were saving up their credits. However, please know that the offer is an honor to me that you like it so much and I hope you continue to check out my auctions in the future and know that I will always do the same for you. Have a beautiful day=) ~Namaste

Is this opal or opalite? From the coloring in the pic I just wanted to make sure.

Unless I state otherwise the stones I list are exactly what I list them as. I have occasionally list Opalite, Mystic Topaz, or Aqua Aura which are man made or man modified stones but I put that in the descriptions and then the modification stone descriptions. Because while Opalite is much cheaper than Opal it also has different healing properties than Opal so I try ever so hard to be very clear in my listing as to what you are getting. If you are brand new to my auctions I invite you to check out my feedback because I am a woman of my word and I truly believe in the stones and their properties. I appreciate the questions because any chance I get to talk about gems and minerals ....as you can tell I will=) Please feel free to ask any others you may have or if I didn't answer this one well enough then keep asking until I do. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and take a look. I wish you the best should you decide to bid. Have a Beautiful Sunday=) ~Namaste

I apologize. I didn't mean to insult you. It's so rare for me to see an actual opal that looks like the beautiful pendulum you have listed. Usually that coloring is opalite when I find it I just had to make sure. Opal is my favorite stone and I just didn't want to be disappointed again. F&W

Oh No Sweetie you didn't and I didn't mean to make you feel like you did. I always try to let my reputation speak for me. Most of the times I will have a person who has won opal from me speak up and tell anyone who asks that my Opal is opal but Sundays in the summer are very low volume because people are getting the last of their vacations on. So no worries and I understand because I love Opal too. It along with Rose Quartz and Rutilated Quartz are the stones I wear EVERYDAY. (Oddly my wedding rind is NOT a real diamond lol because I would rather spend hundreds of dollars on gemstones than the price of a house on a ring. tee hee...It is however quartz Crystal.) Seriously no worries It is one of the most common questions I answer. Honestly I have had people insult me and say rude things like repeatedly telling me it is Opalite and then I lay my creds on them then they do their best but my feedback speaks for me. If you were rude or angry or I felt insulted I would have waited a day or two to answer because I have AWESOME Bidders who will usually take care of it for me. However Opal is one of those that I think like you people have been disappointed too many times that they get very protective and I understand. Completely. I have been all over the world, I visited the mines that I bought from to make sure Human and Earth rights were not being violated. While I am bring affordable pieces to people for the properties so this would be a B grade opal at best probably a C but it came right from the earth and then it was shaped by me and I never mind honest questions and I don't think any honest seller does. Always feel free to ask. I really do LOVE talking about the stones. They are my passion along with helping other make the very best of themselves so I don't ever mind answering question. I hope you are still having the Super Sunday I was wishing for you earlier. Peace, Love, and Pixie Dust =) ~Namaste
