This is for a Compaq Presario laptop it has two gigs of ram, AMD processor, 500 gig hard drive, and is in great shape save for its missing its X key, as visible in the picture. It works perfectly and comes with a charger. No, I don't do gin and shipping will be free.

all u have to do is a factory reset you do not have to wipe the hard drive. That will remove all your personal files. Factory reset does that.

I know how to do this stuff. I've been repairing laptops and cannibalizing desktops for years. Tech is kind of my thing. I'm not going to delete the partition. I'm going to keep the recovery partition intact. I say wipe and I mean there is going to be a green version of windows in need of all the driver, firmware, and software updates. BIOS is going to be fine. If the winner wants I can set to dual boot Linux or OS X. I know what I am doing. Thank you.

Because I didn't actually look at it. I was in Loveland with my father in law after he fell after one of his chemo treatments. I ask for help and they were wrong I didn't get to look at it until I got home.

I don't have any sticks of ram around my house. Max supported on the MoBo is 4gb. The sticks inside now are two 1gb sticks. Two 2gb sticks still run about 45 dollars. And apologize if this sounds rude but, I'm not dropping any money on a laptop that has sat and collected dust for the last year.

No other problems exist outside of the X key missing. Everything reads and writes fine and the screen is not scratched.
