I sure know what you mean, I am low on credits too...I spend them as fast as I can get them...LOL...I use mine to get scrapbooking stuff and then I use the scrapbooking stuff to work with foster and adoptive kids, I help them to work on their Lifebooks: very detailed scrapbooks/journals about their ever changing lives...VERY important since they are often the child's only record of their history...

Thamks so much sweetie!!! The kids enjoy working on their books so much and it can be good therapy for them too...they work through a lot of their loss, grief and anger while working on their pages dealing with their pasts and you just can't put a price on that...and it is so important that they have a way of keeping a record of where they came from...a way of finding the good in sometimes very bad situations...sometimes it can be a real challenge for them to come up with that one truly GOOD memory...but once they do, the flood gates open and they are able to remember a lot of "little things" that otherwise may have been forgotten...everyone focuses so much on the bad stuff...I help them to accept the bad but to focus on the good, no matter how small and insignificant that good can seem next to the bad...you know??? I help them to understand that it is ok to love and miss their parents while at the same time embracing the NEW parents that they have now...to understand that loving both sets (and sometimes many sets, depending on how many families they have lived with) is ok...that we can love many people in our lives without having to stop loving the people in our past, and that loving one person is NOT a betrayal to another...anyway...this is something that I am VERY passionate about as my own parents have fostered and adopted since before I was born and I, myself, have fostered for more than 20 years...my youngest son in adopted...his birth mother was one of my past foster children. She came back a couple years after "aging out" of the system and gave me the gift of her son to raise...he still remains the best gift I have ever been given (even if he IS a teenager now...LOL...)...anyway...sorry to go on and on...like I said, I am passionate about these kids :o)

GOD Bless,
Rev. Michelle

Oh thats what you use my iron ons for... Thats really nice...I will check my scrapbooking things to see if I have any to post....

Yep, that is what I use them for and it is why I have opened my scrapbooking store...I use the megar earnings from my store also to fund my passion of working with these kids...it isn't much, but every little bit helps...I don't get any funding or anything, everything the kids use comes out of my pocket and out of my Listia credits...which don't last me long...I spend those credits just as fast as I can get them, the kids run me out of scrapbooking supplies REALLY fast...LOL...we work together several nights a week (especially during the summer) and I usually have a group of about a dozen kids at each session. I work with about 100 kids all together but had to keep the group size down to about a dozen at a time or it just gets to be too much for just me to handle...they all want there one-on-one time...LOL...and if I don't keep my eye on them the glue amd glitter will start to fly...you have never scrapbooked till you have had to break up a HUGE glitter fight...makes a food fight look like good, clean fun!!!...ROFL!!! :o) You can never get all that sparkly stuff off the floor, wall, ceiling...and KIDS!!!...LOL...
