The listing, Evangelion EVA-04 Xebec Kaiyodo / Deluxe Anime Figure - NIB / Sealed - RARE! has ended.

This super RARE Neon Genesis Evangelion EVA-04 figure was released by Xebec / Kaiyodo more than 15 years ago and is hard to find New in Box. Includes posable figure with plenty of extra accessories (hands, masks, guns, etc.). I bought it upon release and kept it in storage all of this time. The box was a little crushed when I bought it, but the figure inside is MINT.

This character was never shown in the original series but it's blueprints were provided by the production company and it's a very special figure indeed. It was officially released in the USA by Xebec, though designed and produced by the original Japanese companies behind the anime.

The figure itself is sealed and perfect. The box has wear from storage with creases and some dust on cardboard. Ships FREE to the USA and exact cost to Canada or elsewhere. This is no longer sold in stores and is very RARE. It's worth approximately $55-$75 USD.

one opf my friends that is an expert on anime especially this anime said there is a chance that this may not even be eva 04 but a repainted eva 03 cause they did show eva 04 and it looks all silver

Well they released the figure as Eva 04, so who knows :) They are supposed to look the same anyhow Eva 03 and Eva 04. I haven't seen any of the recent movies or show extensions though so I'm a bit behind on it. Still an awesome figure no matter how you look at it :).

As per the Eva wiki page: Although never seen on screen, GAINAX occasionally releases production art of the unit. It is depicted as being silver in color and physically identical to Eva-03. Like the other Production Models, it uses the same 5-plate torso armor design and shoulder mounted storage pylons. Its unique feature is its S² Engine, assumed to be a restored version of Shamshel's remains (which we see in Episode 05.)

Yeah, it's ok though. For 15 years he sat on a shelf. Is rather someone open him up and enjoy him. Once you have kids your priorities really do change. I'm using my Listia credits to get digital games and more age appropriate toys :). I can always buy more toys for myself in the future haha.
