This is a reprint of infamous Alabama train robber Rube Burrow, also known as "The King of the Outlaws". A post mortem copy of Burrow on display in Birmingham, Alabama, in his coffin after he was killed during a daring escape attempt in Marengo County, Alabama on December, 1890. As a matter of fact, in my research, it was noted that as he was displayed, people were coming up & taking buttons off his jacket, locks of his hair & other items. I'm sure you are correct & once it was nailed shut, he was near nekkid...:)
