I'm sorry, is English not your first language? Plastic is usually lightweight. Stone (and often glass) is cold to the touch, is heavier, and doesn't smell like plastic after you rub it between your fingers, and makes a hard "tapping" or "knocking" sound if you knock it against the counter. Now do you have a better idea what the beads are made of? Thanks

You see I do not know the difference between the differant beads, however now that you have so graciously explained that to me when I get home I can find that out!
