My item is not new but is in great shape. No scratched discs and all booklets included. This is worth having for the art on the cases alone. The outside cases look like old leather books but when you slide out the dvd cases their is beautiful artwork inside all of them as well. This is the ultimate collection for any Lord of the rings fan.
