This listing is for a Vintage, Anchor Hocking Vinegar Cruet in Crystal or Clear. The shape is often referred to as an oil cruet, bottle or carafe depending on local traditions and use at the table. The pattern features a paneled optic design with a ringed handle and flat topped, glass stopper. The bottom of the cruet is marked with a "5" and the Anchor Hocking "H and Anchor" logo used from 1937 until 1968. The Mid-Century design is perfect for serving dressings, sauces and vinegar.

The cruet measures 5" high with the stopper in place, 3 1/2" in diameter and weighs 8.2 oz with the stopper.

The stopper and cruet are free of chips, cracks and fleabites. The glass is wonderfully clear with no etching or discoloration in the jar. There are no signs of use or wear. This will make a wonderful addition to any Cruet collection, the curio or at the table.
