The listing, 2010 Iraq/ Kuwait Army Deployment Patch has ended.
So this is a deployment patch that I had made last year while I was deployed. And I decided to put one up for auction for all of you military collectors. Just to give you some background info on this when I had it made.
First the patch is 6" diameter. The top of the patch says "2-124 IN BN", which means 2nd Battalion (BN) of the 124 Infantry (IN) regiment. Then of course it says Kuwait and Iraq,Camp Virginia in Kuwait and Contingency Operating Base (COB) Adder which is in Iraq. Then OIF/OND, Operation Iraqi Freedom/ Operation New Dawn 2010. And Finally the symbol in the middle. The squirrel represents being a secret squirrel which was a nickname given to the Intelligence Staff personnel. The Red Diamond is the enemy soldier identification symbol. The Tomahawk and Arrow is for the Seminole Battalion which is the mascot of the 2-124 IN BN. And S2 which is shop 2, Intelligence, and EW electronic warfare. So there you have it, its got a good amount of meaning behind and I think it would make a good collectors piece. Good Luck to all
