The listing, Who's Going to Take Care of Me? Book has ended.
Very gently used children's book.
"PreSchool-Grade 2-- Small Eric, who has been dependent on older sister Karin at day care, suddenly realizes that when Karin goes to school, he will no longer have the comfort of her protective presence. In a series of delicately drawn scenes, Eric observes how Karin has been a sweet sister, bringing him crayons, teaching him songs, and letting him sit by her at story time. Then he sees how her entering school consumes their parents' whole attention. He is the only one who wonders, "Who's going to take care of me?" But when school begins, he notices that Karin is very small compared to the others in the schoolyard, and further, that he himself is now one of the older children in the day-care group. He now plays Karin's role, sensitive to the needs of a smaller boy, bringing him crayons, teaching him songs, and sitting by him at story time. Hale's pale watercolors are interestingly shaded with dots. The gently cheerful pictures give solid reassurance of the strength of human relationships. --Ruth Semrau, Lovejoy School, Allen, TX"
