The listing, USB 2.0 10 port Hub W/ on/Off Switch has ended.
I have a few of these like new 10 port hubs. We bought them for a particular application but found out later they were not the best choice for what we were doing. This is for one of them. Hub has a on off switch and a port to add a optional power supply.
Questions & Comments
What is the "mah" output through a single port on this hub?
With an adapter most hubs like this put out 2.5. I ran a bunch of the cheaper hubs like this at 5000 ma, but some of the hubs could not take it and melted down.
Maybe. They are not high end hubs though, more basic consumer grade. We picked them up for mining, but then had a chance to pick up a bunch of higher end USB 2 hubs and some anker USB 3 hubs, along with some industrial 49 port hubs. After we got them in we stopped using the cheaper ones, and never had a reason to start using these as they were to be additions to what we already had.
In short I would say yes they can, though I would question how many miners they could run. IF the wiring in the hub can handle 5000 m Amps then they could handle 10 USB miners. If they can only handle the average 2500 m Amps then they could only handle 5 or 6.
