The listing, Extraordinary Weaved Wall Hangings- Old has ended.

These were left in my house from the former owners who originally bought the house in the early 1960s. I do not know what era these meticulous (straw?) weaved items were made. They range from 7" around to 9.5" x 9.5". They are about .75 inches thick.

Not really sure who's right or not but my grand ma had some and she said and used for the table to put a hot pan on

I'm not sure either. They were hanging on my walls when I bought the house. I just put a heavy pan on one of them and it did not collapse. Caution: I am not sure if they are flammable, and I am not going to try.
