Okay this may sound stupid. just wanted to ask. i never owned one before, but a friend told me to get one of these for protection in my house. can u have these in illinois and not get into trouble. lol sorry if sounds stupid.

so there not really for protection in house do unless they have metal pellets can it take metal pellets

cool auction! for those that were wondering airsoft really isnt for protection. i have some of the most powerful airsoft guns sold and they inly shoot like 600fps which is very fast and from close range could make someone bleed but they are $150+ and are CO2 powered. i also have a bunch of spring pistols and one on auction now, and they barely hurt at all. they awesome but really arent for protective purposes.
