I won this phone on Listia. I was thrilled with the condition. Was able to try every screen, no screen lag. I was not able to use it on my carrier, Kajeet, who require you to use only their over-priced phones. I sold this one and it was returned because the buyer could not have it activated on Sprint, they told him that it had probably been flashed. The ESN is clear. I would be happy to give you the name of the Listia member I got it from so that he can tell you who the last carrier was. I know that many carriers will flash phones, and this one is very nice. It is being listed as is. Free US shipping. Wish I had Sprint because I would pursue this, like it so much better than my Samsung Seek!

Like I said, every screen works, no screen lag, good battery, but I could not activate it on my carrier. I don't know it it has been flashed or not, actually, not even sure what flashing is. Just see on Listia that phones can be flashed. Don't have a clue if they can be "unflashed" or which carriers offer this service. I won this from a very reputable member whose listing said it worked 100%. You'll have to decide about bidding on it as described.

Don't know what it is. Says Sprint, previous owner said it was Sprint. Person I sold it to said that the person at Sprint said it had probably been flashed. Every feature works fine, looks good, Welcome screen just says Rumor Touch and there's an analog B message. When I go to a screen like "Maps" the options are Sprint Naviagation, etc. but that may be because it is/or was a Sprint phone. No one knows less about phones than me.

Again, I could not activate it. Every screen works; it holds a charge, has sound. It is not a smartphone, does not have wifi. It does not require a data plan. This is from the listing I won it from:

Up for bids is an LG Rumor Touch cell phone made for Sprint! This phone is 100% WORKING and is in good cosmetic condition.

This seller has 109 transactions and 100% feedback. I emailed him to ask if it had been flashed but he has no recent auctions and hasn't checked listia messages. I will give you his name if you would like to contact him at auction's end.

The phone looks great, performs perfectly, has all the social networking sites, internet, and everything else. I just don't know who the last carrier was. This is described as well as I can, know very little about phones. You are bidding on it as described, as is. If I can look in the phone and answer specific questions, I will do that for you.

A partial flash is when you basically just reprogram the phone to connect to a different carrier

If I had to guess, I would say it probably was flashed to metro pcs.
I had a verizon phone that got flashed to metro and everything still said verizon on like the navigation and web and everything, so it sounds like what you're describing.
If so, the winner can probably get it flashed back over to sprint.
