Hematite is said to improve relationships and help with physical malaise. It is also called the Blood Stone, and thought to help with iron absorption.

These Anglican (Christian) style Prayer beads measure approx. 12 inches long, It contains 33 beads, one for each year of Jesus' life. Four sets of seven small hematite beads, or "weeks", are separated by four larger hematite cruciform beads. Tiny pearl and glass beads dangle at the end, alongside a silver cross. The silver connector that completes the circle mimics the six-petaled rose at the center of the Chartres Labyrinth, a powerful meditation tool.

A copy of a brief explanation of the Prayer Beads and how to pray them is included with each set of beads, although there is no wrong way to pray them.
