The listing, Genie Lamp has ended.

I'm not sure exactly what this is, but I have always called it a genie lamp. It is solid brass and measures approximately 5" high, 6" long, and 2" deep. The top part has 2 hand-carved images of what appears to be an Aladdin. I do not know much else about the piece, but if you have questions, feel free to ask.

A thick wick should fit in the spout or you can put a cone incense inside and the scent will come out through the spout. Maybe even a few wishes granted!!!!

I would venture to guess that it is some sort of gravy boat or tea pot. At least that's what it appears to be to me.

I think it is too small and not practical for those uses, and with the Aladdin engravings, I would probably go with the oil lamp idea

I believe it is an oil lamp and a wick would have been at the tip of it
