You will need to know techniques:
-chain
-slip stitch
-single crochet
-double crochet
-crochet in rounds
-puff stitch

-dc increase

You will need:
aprox. 5oz of 4ply yarn
crochet hook
(optional) tapestry needle

Beginners. You just need to know how to chain, single crochet, double crochet, increase (which I tell you how to do), and the puff stitch (which is also talked through in the pattern).

Have you started to crochet at all? You'll need to know a few basics, but I explain a lot of it. It's pretty much a basic beanie with some "special" stitches thrown in. It was one of the firsts I crocheted on my own about 3-4 months after I learned to crochet.

I looove to crochet! I totally recommend doing it! The pattern has a whole list of everything you need, and I won't just send you the pattern and leave you to it. I'm always available for questions and help! :D I'd recommend getting a G or an H hook- I use Boye brand hooks, they're the most common brand you can get them at craft stores, walmart, kmart, etc. Then grab some Redheart brand yarn- it's the cheapest and easiest to work with as a beginner. Stay away from Caron for now- I have had problems with it fraying. I'll message you with a start up video series on Youtube. Learn the stitches, everything after that is EASY. I promise!
