Ok here we go. This is a great starter kit for your car. Let's start with the gps it's a Goodyear model gy145 works well and come with charger missing bracket for windshield also has it's own case for it . Next up is Motorola Bluetooth speaker syn1717a t505. This thing is great nice and loud. You will have to find instructions on line to sync it. Now for the real deal a original iPod 20g . These are indestructible and it's safe to leave in the car unlike a iphone . This thing is loaded with mixed music and ready to get you in a good mood while you drive. How old is the gps and does it need updates

Honestly I really don't know how old it is, it's not like my garmin . It does not ask you to update it when you use it. It works better then my garmin . It finds newer roads that my garmin can not find. I hope I was able to answer your Qs
