A Gateway NV5611u Notebook Red Cover Laptop Computer. This laptop is about 9-10lbs in the box pictured in the photos.

This laptop originally was purchased for $1300.00 and is an extremely nice one. It is about 2 years old and still looks new. It comes with VISTA, but, I'm sure you'll want to download windows 7 or 8. All the components and paperwork is still with this unit as evidenced by the photos. The lthium battery is disconnected so you will probably have to use the main power cord to boot it. Shipping requires the battery be disconnected before shipping. If this reaches the GIN I will ship FREE.

Hi. You said the battery is disconnected. But does it charge and work? Is it easily reconnected

Yes the battery works and does recharge. The US Postal requires the lithium battery be disconnected before and during shipment. It's very easy to put the battery in. Just turn the computer over and place it in the compartment and push down lightly and it snaps in.
