The listing, Unknown plant..Possible Night Blooming Cereus has ended.
Winner will receive a stick of my unknown Plant..it was given to me as a gift from a very caring plant loving friend..she told me it will eventually grow these white waxy looking flowers with a very pretty center. I have just been told from another Listia member that this may not be a Hoya like I had thought it was but a night blooming cereus.. Mine has not yet bloomed and from the information she has given me, it sounds more like what she said it may be than a Hoya. It has grown these huge long leaves that are very stiff like, then all these branches off the leaves that I call sticks, as that is what they look like..they are actually branches that the leaves bud out from. My plant was left to grow and it grew many of these leaves and many of these sticks. Im not sure it I was suppose to pinch it back or what so I pinched off some of the sticks and have had them in a vase of water. They now have rooted and I want to share them with others as mine has gotten so big and Im running out of room to grow more of them. You can see some of the sticks(branches) in the picture. I will send you one of these to plant in dirt and watch the leaves grow from them..they do grow fast so it wont be long before your sis big and growing leaves and its own sticks..lol. Mine got neglected for a while and some of the sticks had branched way over to a second window in my kitchen where it sets..It became a joke to see how far it would grow till it tipped over one day when someone moved the curtain in the window. check out my other auctions for more plants, seeds, toys clothes lotions coins perfumes and geodes..those go real fast! thanks for looking! Bid only if your understanding that I am not sure exactly what plant this is..your welcome to look up night blooming cereus and see if that is what this may be..the listia member did mention that it will grow white flowers so my friend that gave it to me may have mistaken this as a hoya and /or sent me the wrong plant cutting..its neat anyway
