I recently won this here on Listia, but am finding out I have to cut down on my collections, so this is one I've decided to let go. To me, it sounds like the Chinese baoding balls. It has a beautiful chime/ring to it, and it doesn't always ring the same tone. It's metal, and well made. It's a beautiful piece, and has three whales on it over two shades of blue.
