It is for Amazon, I don't see anything prohibiting it's use in Canada in the "fine print" on either the instructions or the directions.- Hope this helps.

I'm sorry I did not have a more definitive answer last night. I looked on their site and saw no prohibitive exclusions regarding the use of the card/ code if used outside the US. I did put in a request for assistance to see if they can help me further. I'll send you a PM as soon as I hear more from them.
