This purse has a real wonderful story to it. I sat down one night, years ago and wondered how I was going to make it to work until payday because money was so tight and I had 3 little girls to care for. My mother had given me a large bag of yarn because she wanted me to learn to crochet. I took it out of the closet and looked at it and talked to God about how desperate I felt. I did not know how to crochet but I started playing with the yarn and actually made a little purse. At the hospital I showed my purse to several people and all of a sudden people came in my office saying "I want one!" I took orders and made a couple of them every night and it bought gas and groceries!!! I have never stopped thanking God. I made this pink one just to see if I could still do it - I hope someone likes it. It is 9" high by 8" wide. The white flower rests on your shoulder - it can be taken off if you prefer to not have it there - just a touch of sweetness.
