Sun: Full Sun tolerant, although I have found that the leaves grow bigger when grown in a pot, in the Partial Shade after the plant is established.

Sowing: Sow seeds directly in the garden after the last frost. When seedlings are about 3 inches tall, thin them to 8 inches apart. Germination: 5 - 10 Days
Time till Harvest: Approximately 80 days
Note: the second picture is of my 4th generation variety,0 yes that is a US quarter, which lives in a 5 gallon bucket in the corner of my yard behind a shade oak. It doesn't get very much direct sunlight at all and the giant leaves are about average. They are perfect for julienne, caprisi or any other recipe. ENJOY
