As versatile as it is tasty, sweet basil can be used to make just about any dish taste delicious. Plant Sweet Basil seeds inside or out, and use either fresh or dried, these seeds are from my 4th generation plants and they are perfect for culinary use in any dish.

Zone: Zone 4 - 11 Perennial used as Annual
Sun: Full Sun tolerant, although I have found that the leaves grow bigger when grown in a pot, in the Partial Shade after the plant is established.
Height: 12 to 18 Inches
Spread: up to 10 inches
Sowing: Sow seeds directly in the garden after the last frost. When seedlings are about 3 inches tall, thin them to 8 inches apart. Germination: 5 - 10 Days
Time till Harvest: Approximately 80 days

Note: the second picture is of my 4th generation variety,0 yes that is a US quarter, which lives in a 5 gallon bucket in the corner of my yard behind a shade oak. It doesn't get very much direct sunlight at all and the giant leaves are about average. They are perfect for julienne, caprisi or any other recipe. ENJOY
