I got more information adout the ipod. The person just told me that its locked with code and can't remember . If I can't figure out the lock code I will take it off aution until I'm able to do so.

if you are able to factory reset the ipod, it should remove the code. There are usually two ways to factory reset devices. 1. in the settings. 2. Press and hold a specific button combo. Try googling how to factory reset the ipod and you should find something. Chargers are also cheap depending on where you get them. You can try any electronic store or go to the Apple store. Hope this helps with anything.
