VINTAGE BARBIE DOLL
1966 Barbie doll made in KOREA, Mattel, Inc.with bendable knees and twist 'n turn at waist. She has redish blonde hair. Her face has no imperfections, her cheek color is fine, eyes and lip color is all intact. She has light play wear and very little soiling. She has no missing hair plugs. Her hair has been cut, I think. Only signs of wear are her wrists and feet. Ears are not pierced. No green ear. Arms are tight and pose well. No head splits. No repaint. Her nose has no nicks but has aged some. Auction is for doll as shown plus matching bra and panty (panty is loose must have worn elastic) and red checkered dress with red sash, all original.

Items come from a clean...smoke-free home

Just an FYI--the dress and underwear appear to be homemade and are definitely not original to this Malibu Barbie doll. I hope this helps!

mostly all Barbie dolls are marked 1966, this does not mean the doll was manufactured in 1966. This is a very common error!!
Probably this doll is from 1978 or 1979.Here is a great website for ID.
