I got this through a phone service company. It wasn't Vonage, but it's most likely locked.

tese things are usually pretty hard to unlock, i tried one before that looked identical, and it did nothing, so i just got rid of it :)

No, but this unit may be tied to some existing phone provider. You might be able to use it with Vonage. I really don't know. It looks like you would have to "unlock" it to use it with the company of your choice.
