This is an auction for quite a valuable necklace. As described above on the lobster clasp closure of the chain our little necklace is stamped (SU) Italy, on the reverse side it is stamped 925 Italy and (925). The pendant also has 925 stamped inside of it, the second part is hard to read or make out so I am still unsure over what follows the 925. This necklace and pendant are composed of sterling silver coated in gold. The pendant is a beautiful marbled malachite set in a heavy gold pendant. The whole necklace is in excellent condition for being so old, the chain has a slight discoloration in one space, possibly where it was tested.
