What is e-Juice?

So now that you understand that vaping isn’t smoking, the next question most people have is whats in that liquid that’s being atomized into vapor?

e-Liquid or e-Juice is normally composed of up to 5 ingredients (not main ingredients with a giant list of other stuff, all ingredients) :

VG (Vegetable Glycerin) The Base makes up 80-90% of e-juice and is composed of 100% VG or a mix with PG. Common ratios are 100% VG, 50/50 PG/VG, and 80/20 PG/VG. It is widely used in all types of food and personal care products like toothpaste. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GlycerolPG (Propylene glycol) Commonly mixed with VG as the base for e-juice. This is a solvent that’s used in all sorts of things. Along with being a solvent, its mainly known for its use in fog machines. A higher PG mix e-juice will produce thicker clouds of vapor. However PG can dry out your throat and even cause mild allergic reactions in some users. If you have any issues with PG, just use a 100% VG e-juice like those from Virgin Vaporhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propylene_glycolFlavor 10%-20%. All the e-juice I’ve seen uses Food grade flavorings originally intended for baking or candy making. Here is an excerpt from the LorAnn website: “All of our materials are food grade (where applicable) and adhere to standards set down in the USP, NF or FCC (U.S.Pharmacopoeia, National Formulary, and Food Chemical Codex).”Nicotine 0%-2.4% depending on strength. Any large supplier of e-juice is using pharmaceutical grade pure nicotine.Distilled water is sometimes used to dilute if needed.

That’s it. From as little as 2 ingredients (VG and flavor) to as many as 5, and theories on nicotine ingestion non withstanding, all used regularly in food products. Remember, the important thing is what e-juice doesn’t contain: the 4000+ chemicals in a cigarette.

Unfortunately the Kanger Pro 3 almost ruined my Vamo V5 by pushing the internal pin down too far. =-/ I was looking forward to adding this to my collection but I guess the threading is just too long for the Vamos. Looks like I will be posting a Kanger Pro Tank 3 soon. I'm bummed, I had already bid on this too. Best of luck to you man. You seem like a straight up guy. No longer W, but F, for sure. =)

I have the Kanger Pro Tank Mini 2 and Kanger tanks really are the best in my opinion! Before my mini I only used CE4 and CE5 tanks and I don't think I could ever go back. The Kanger tanks are just so much smoother, the coils last much longer and it just burns better in generally. They have great craftsman ship!

Sounds good. I'll check out the juices too. I lean to custard based...that berry and cream sounds good. I'm usually 100% vg. Love the confidence in the tank too. I sit mine in my lap in the car and get....crash....Both times lol.

If I may shane.....people seem to really like you so I wanna ask what juice everyone prefers......I really need to branch out....at first I did my local shops flavors then with in days of vaping tried a premium from suicide bunny "mothers milk" and have yet to find anything else I really like...I mean to the point where I ONLY vape that. Nothing else has ever touched the inside of my nautilus. Any suggestions.?

I here that, its expense to "Try" and find a really good juice. I use killerjuice.com, & Zamplebox.com currently. No complaints yet. Then I prefer a higher vg content. Its thicker and vapes better. I picked up 4 oz. recently of a custom brewed, steeped, black~market, juice made called Pimp Juice. Its like a fresh berries & cream. It's my new all~day~vape. He only has 4 flavors right now. He only mixes every 2 or 3 months. Sells it in mason jars. By the oz., not ml. Stay in touch thx for stopping by. If you win this tank, and the glass ever breaks I'll give you a new one for free. I've never broken one yet. And I'm dropping all the time.

Well look....f&w.....I have the mini in this lol but I've been wanting to test this one:)......I've broken the Pyrex on my nautilus twice..they should give a second one in the box lol. Now I always have an extra on hand....learned the hard way. I know they have the steel ones now but something about vaping out of glass.....I just prefer:)

Ive been a Kangertech fan for quite some time. I wasted a lot of money trying different styles of tanks. I've still got a few of these that I'll be posting. There almost bullet proof. And So Easy to maintain. The one that is on order now is the Nautilus. Ive heard so much about it. I'm not real happy about the replacement cost on coils However. We'll see.
