It may or may not need a case wrench to open it. I've seen many watches that add the notches for looks, even though you only need a case knife to open them. I can't speak to this watch, since I don't know the model, but just know that a pic isn't enough.

Also note: Unlike some Fossil watches, this one uses batteries and does not wind up. (The red stripe shows that it is still using the original battery and has NEVER been opened, which is a great asset to this watch. )

I just uploaded a pic of the card attached to the watch, it has the barcode on it and may have the model number on it says "PR5331" Also " Swiss parts" "Assembled in Thailand Movement"

Watch Band is not Blue (that is the protective plastic) band color is silver

Back of watch doesn't give the battery number does it ?

No it doesn't (watch is working keeping time right now) If you search Fossil PR5331 that is the watch model number you should be able to find the battery number. However since it is New shouldn't need a battery for 3-5 years
