This is another piece of the jewelry my Grandmother left to me. I have already put away the special pieces but someone needs to enjoy some. I initially thought this was a Garnet and Carnelian ring, but my Grandfather says it is Garnet and another stone called Beryl, and that my Grandmother bought it on vacation in India many years ago. It's a heavy ring, with a marquise cut garnet and the Beryl is inset on the sides. It's a size 9 and too big for me, although I did wear it on my thumb for a bit. It is marked on the inside 14kt and there is something on the other side stamped in but I can't make it out. A pretty ring, substantial--
