Last year, Canada Post sponsored an art competition for young people 15-years-old and under in search of a suitable image for the annual stamp for the Canada Post Community Foundation. The 2013 Canada Post Community Foundation stamp features the plasticine-on-board sculpture created by eight-year-old Ezra Peters from Whitelaw, Alberta. Ezra’s illustration, Floating Adrift, depicts a white-sailed ship on the ocean and a happy green fish leaping from the water. The image symbolizes how kids can stay on course if they have the support and guidance they need.
