For your consideration is a beautiful antique pearl ring. The setting is made of heavy sterling silver and is marked "Sterling" inside the band. The pearl is absolutely stunning. It shines with an irridrscent glow. I tried to measure the pearl, which was kind of hard. It looks to be 8 mm. wide measured across the middle. The band and setting are made very well. They are strong and on the heavy side.

This pretty ring would fit a size 7.5-8 finger.

Besides being beautiful, the pearl is believed to have healing energy. According to the American Gem Society, the pearl is known for its calming properties, the Pearl is said to aid purity, charity, integrity, truth, and loyalty in its wearer.

I believe the ring to be over 50 years old as evidenced by the set of the pearl. If anyone knows about this ring, I would love to hear.
