You can't buy lots of colors at the Apple Store or you'll break your budget. Try it this way.

I-Pad2 just came out in March. I used it until I switched with my husband's I-pad1. It is like new.

It is 2 months old. My husband and I traded iPads and he bought a red cover. I have the ipad1 and he now has the ipad2 that we just bought. I am new to my laptop and I just figured out how to cut and paste a picture. you might have to wait just a bit but I will try to take a picture and get my husband to put it in my files tomorrow. To me, it is the nicest color they made, but iPad1 doesn't use it, of course.

Aren't magnets bad for computers and techy stuff?

Not for this. They belong together on an iPad2.

That's a great question.  Things have changed considerably in only a few years.  The iPad2 is designed to have this type of automatic cover/stand that pulls itself to adhere to one side and fold to hold.  I could cut and paste something from Apple, but I can say from experience that I was quite awed with it.  I'm a baby-boomer and a computer setup I bought in 1990 to run a small business cost me $10,000 and lots of space.  It would be less than $1,000 for comparable products today, and you don't have to worry about how close your coke can is sitting to your CPU.  All I can say is it was built for variety and choice to fit the iPad2, and that's what it does--fit.
