The listing, WOW! 176 Pieces TRIO DC Super Friends Batcave & MORE has ended.

The first 3 photos are stock photos. I wanted to show an example of how it looks when put together and some features of the toy. These are all from the TRIO batman building blocks series. There is more here than the batcave set, but I couldn't even begin to separate them out. Everything will work together with the building blocks. I can't say that everything from the original boxes or packages are here or not, but come on...176 pieces! You can do a heck of a lot with that.

The last 4 pictures are of the picture panels. There are pictures on both sides so I flipped them around to show that. There are only 4 panels, NOT 8!

I will do my best to break it down for you:
81 square blocks - These include singles, doubles, triples, quads and 2 rows of 5 together, also some slanted pieces and two that swivel.
45 yellow, gray and white connectors - The picture shows 44, but I found one later making it 45. Go ahead and count them if you want LOL!
7 little Batman and Friends/Enemies figures - These are so cute! They attach to any block with their feet. I would name them all, but other than Batman, Robin and Joker I'm lost.
33 Extras - We got stairs, panels with pictures, rock walls, batwings (I believe for one of the vehicles), a zip line, and other batwings and doodads that I have no idea what they're for.
10 big pieces - The Batmobile!, driveway pieces, batman and robin vehicle pieces, and other stuff you can just look at the pictures and see.

I have decided to offer free shipping! HOWEVER in order for me to do so I have to wait until June 22nd to mail it out. If you are willing to wait until then I will ship Priority which only takes between 3 to 4 days I think. It's pretty fast. Otherwise if you want it sooner I will have to charge shipping at the rate of $10 and ship parcel post. I asked Listia to change the listing already, but thought I would add a comment here just in case.

do it come with direction to put it together? Or is it pretty easy?

No it doesn't come with directions or any packaging. There are many different ways you can put it together. If you do a google search you can find different structures and go from that. Otherwise it's pretty easy, I think.

my son is only 2 and a half and I have a 5 year old daughter so I have no idea what an 8 year old boy likes LOL. But the age restrictions are 4 and up so I guess it depends on the child's individual taste in toys.

The characters pictured would be (in the second character pic) Mr. Freeze, Riddler, Penguin, and Robin....... I think the one's in the first character pic are just different versions of Batman. ^_^
