I purchased the Too Faced Palette from a trusted seller on ebay a couple of weeks ago for my Listia Ladies! It has gotten rave reviews and on their blog, it is still listed as one of their top selling palettes.

I also purchased this MAC Mineralize directly from the MAC site as there were rave reviews on it!
It was claimed to be the best thing since sliced bread. Well, almost. Leaving face soft, silky like never before was the gist of it. I have very dry skin, so this sounded perfect. Especially from MAC! So I tried a Spritz or two on my face with instant results. Yup, my face immediately began burning and stinging and turned red-for awhile.
Well, so much for that! $24.00 down the drain. Not trying to rhyme, but my loss is your gain! I have decided to offer it to ya'll...
The palette is worth $36.00 and the Hydrating spray-$24.00.I'm sure most of you can figure this comes to $60.00! And a pretty decent auction of high end products! All for you...

Oh Hun!! That's terrible! That is the sad thing. It isn't just the loss we take, it is the loss for the whole site of high quality items.
And what really is a one-two punch is that, as soon as I found out the palette was fake, I told everyone, got my refund, and my new one is coming today. Then, as I stated, if THAT one still sucks, I will order one directly from the site. That will be the cost of two full palettes plus the cost of the MAC and Free Shipping, which I have done on every single one of my auctions since I joined in March of 2012.
Right now, things are looking so much better and I'm just going to patiently wait it out. I'm also going to fan you back and come see what you're all about (>‿◠)✌

Everything you guys are saying (katdeann, angelica) are spot on. I have a high end palette that's going for peanuts and I'm scared to put a rare one. Sigh. Hope this one does better than what mine is going for.

I am sorry to hear that Kazzah. It is just so disheartening to those of us who only sell/auction the very best!
I do believe in Karma, though, and I think it is because of these things that it will all turn around. We really deserve it, even in an unfair and imperfect world!
As far as the extra palette, if the bids go over 25,000. I will throw in another high end, Authentic palette if they reach 50,000 and go from there, every 25,000. I love all of you and you are so faithful that you really deserve it! Plus, I do not want to try and auction anymore expensive makeup for awhile, and it doesn't keep. I have LORAC, Stila Urban Decay and more! So, that will hopefully be a great incentive, and be an even better auction for my dear friends!!
I am going to add an update stating this. Would you all rather I surprise you with the palette I will put in the kitty, or let you know?

Sugar, I totally get what you are saying. I don't know if it is because someone puts in a high bid though, think about it...if the other people would bid what the item is worth they would eventually win it or you would get what it is worth, at least that is the way I see it. I don't mind someone putting in a high bid, they are tying up their credits on my auction. If the other people want it, they should bid what it is worth...that is just my opinion though.

It's horrible what stuff is going for right now. I closed 4 auctions this weekend and lost my shorts, probably lost over $200. I have soooo much stuff to auction, 3 coach purses,I am terrified to put up because of what happened with my auctions this weekend. Personally I don't buy from ebay just for the reason that happened to you, so sorry that happened. Since you have assured the item is going to be authentic and I totally trust you. I am going to try to help ya out with this auction :)

I know exactly what you are saying, also. I never used to have this problem to the extent I have now, have you? I see that you totally lost your a*# on your 4 auctions. It is really getting kinda bad, ya think?
So not only are people tying up auctions (which I never used to mind, either cuz it usually drove up the bids, but no one is really trying to outbid them like they used to.
And no, I will only buy from the Manufacturer from now on! You can completely rest assured you will get an Authentic palette, ciz if this one is fake, once again I will demand a refund. But I will try to find it on the Too Faced web site after that. I don't think I could, and that's why I went back to ebay. No matter what-even if I have to get a different and comparable palette, the winner WILL receive an Authentic palette. Nothing else would do for my high standards and ethics.

Any time hun! I bought a ton of body jewelry & now makeup for Listia but never can get that darn makeup listed because of my monsters lol. And, at times, I truly do go insane! How could us moms not? It's crazy when the 4 that are old enough are all being bad & won't listen all at the same time & the baby is screaming cuz she needs something, but I'm so busy chasing the 2 toddlers & getting at my 10 & 14 year Olds & ugh. So, yes, I definitely go nuts at least a few times a week lol!! ;-) Your mom was amazing to be able to take care of all of you, even if she did lose it... she should've!! I commend her for having 5 kids, 5 and under at once! :-D

I can completely understand how this could drive you nuts-on a daily basis!!!
And yes, I really do understand why my Mom basically had a "Nervous Breakdown" when I was born. She already had 3 in diapers, 1 toddler who was severely ADHD (yup, they gave Ritalin even back in the 50's. didn't help him much) and then have me just about 16 months after finding out at end of her pregnancy with my brothers right before me that she was having twins!!
And then me...and I had many difficulties. I only weighed 5.5" when I was born! Plus, my Dad had just lost his job at Consumers Energy. OMG! I'm surprised she is still alive!!!
I'm glad I only had one-who was about the equivalent of all of the above.
