WHAT IS TIBETAN SILVER?
Tibetan silver is used primarily in jewellery components, and is similar to pewter - an alloy of copper, and sometimes tin or nickel, with a small percentage of pure silver. Its overall appearance is of aged silver, but it can be polished to provide highlights on complex castings.

Chalcedony was used in Renaissance magic for health and safety. In all ages chalcedony has been the stone most used by the gem engraver, and many colored varieties are still cut and polished as ornamental stones.
Chalcedony is one of the gemstones, that used in commesso, also called florentine mosaic. Commesso is a technique of fashioning pictures with thin, cut-to-shape pieces of brightly colored, semiprecious stones, developed in Florence in the late 16th century. The stones most commonly used are agates, quartzes, chalcedonies, jaspers, granites, porphyries, petrified woods, and lapis lazuli. Commesso pictures, used mainly for tabletops and small wall panels, range from emblematic and floral subjects to landscapes.

Thank you again for the complement. I wonder if it's the cross as apposed to the angel wing...which would appeal to more people. Or if it is the style of the cross itself.

These pieces cross both On The Rocks and Biker Chic. My bikers LOVE angel wings, and I have some hot stuff for sale on Facebook. between FB & Listia I am kept very busy:)

I sell on line on ArtFire, Etsy, my own website and Biker Chic is sold through it's Fan page SHOP NOW store.

Speakin' of love.....boy is that an over used out of context word
Just thought I'd throw that In

Wings, man...you're flying. Everyone likes wings, all for their own reasons. But if you've ridden a bike before, wow, there's nothing like it. The freedom is awesome...you feel like your flying,

The cross isn't goth enough on this piece to attract that interest. I made this for spiritual comfort and peace. The right person will find it.

I know something of stones and metals:) My mother had a wonderful jewelry and mineral specimen collection, so I had a head start in learning. Now you just have to keep up with all the "treatments" they are using on the stones. it's mind blowing. Most stuff being sold in stores are worthless, except for their gold content. The stones are commercial grade. My faux ruby is a better deal then a real one...they are filled with glass. I like Chalcedony because they haven't messed around with it...yet. There are other stones I use too that are good quality. But, yeah, you have to know the goods, or they'll give you the junk. I don't do junk:)

So, you are a free spirit of the world...not labeling, just enjoying "Yea I been to NY but that don't make a..." What can I say. Phraseology:)

Interest peeked.....what are you riding? Yeah, I agree about the helmet. Have you been to Angel City? We are so nicely located in Ga for so many good events. We were doing one each week for 6 weeks...thought I'd die, but like to be up front and show support in person. I hear from the grapevine that Laconia was mighty lame
this year. Being in GA is like being in paradise...beautiful rides:)
