Description

The listing, Mini tripod w/ extendable legs. FREE SHIPPING has ended.

NEW IN PACKAGE ... A nifty little "mini" tripod fits all standard digital and film cameras (although I don't think it would be sturdy enough for a really large or heavy film camera). Legs extend from 4" to a little over 6". Head can be rotated 90-degrees. Weighs only about 2 oz, so it's easy to carry anywhere. I got several of these and don't need them all, but I wouldn't ever be without one!

This one is NEW and unused but there is no packaging (never was).

Smoke and pet free home. FREE SHIPPING (but I can ship ONLY to the US).

NOTES: it has a small screw mount that screws into the "port" on most cameras.

According to my research, a tripod screw of 1/4"-20tpi (threads per inch) is standard for ALL cameras made in the US and UK.

This tripod should fit just about every camera out there but I can't absolutely guarantee it. It fits both my digital Canon and my full size film SLR (although the big one is too heavy for the tripod to hold it properly when place on a 90-degree angle. It works fine in the upright position).

I have no idea how to delete a bid once it's made. Let's give it a few days and we'll see if you're outbid. If not, I'll contact Listia and see what they can do.

I picked one of these up from a Dollar Tree and have a normal sized Sanyo digital camera. The batteries in the camera are most of the weight and the screw hole is not in the middle on the bottom of it. This being said, I have to adjust this tripod just right or it tries to topple over. Sturdiness is an issue with this tripod but, close user care as to how it is set up makes it work. This is a cheap tripod but, being careful during set up will have good results.

I doubt if anyone confuses this with a high-end tripod. It's great for small cameras (I also use one for my Flip video camera) and, as you noted, will work with full size SLR cameras if one is careful.

I saw this same tripod in the Dollar Tree, It is good for light weight cameras. But I would not trust it to hold anything expensive.

I've use one just like it with my Canon EOS Rebel T1i (about $1,000 retail camera) and have had no problems, but I'm the first to admit it's not a high end tripod. Thanks for the "review." I'm sure you probably appreciate these kinds of "warnings" on the items you list for auction.
