Description

The listing, 1943 & 1955-S Lincoln Cents has ended.

Decided to do some two-fers this week. The pics above are the exact coins you will be bidding on:

Coin #1 is a 1943 copper coated penny. As many are aware, the 1943 pennies were steel with a coating of zinc. There are 15 known actual copper pennies from 1943 and that made for scam artists coating the "steelies" with copper and selling them as ultra rare coins. I did the magnet test and this is a steel cent. Kinda cool though. Hopefully the person who coated this one tried to pass it off as real and got his butt kicked!

Coin #2 is a 1955-S high grade cent. It looks uncirculated to me. You be the judge.

Happy bidding and Good Luck !

Yep. As I stated above, this is NOT the rare copper cent. Just wonder if they ever did a population report on how many copper coated cents are out there :-) Good Luck.
